She obtained her MD degree from Louisiana State University of Shreveport in 2018. She completed her oral and maxillofacial training at Mount Sinai Hospital in NY. Dr. Akbari enjoys teaching residents and practicing wide scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a focus on trauma and orthognathic surgery.
